Get Your Website on Google With Search Console
Published on Sep 24, 2026
What it's for
Google Search Console is Google's free tool for website owners. It lets you register your website with Google, check that it is properly indexed, and track how it performs in search: how often your site shows up, for which keywords, and how many people click. This option sets no cookies on your website: it is a small invisible tag that proves to Google the site is yours.
Step by step
- Open Google Search Console and sign in with your Google account.
- Add a "URL prefix" property and paste your website address (your own domain name if you connected one).
- Choose the "HTML tag" verification method: Google shows you a code.
- In Flopix, open your website, then the Advanced options tile, and expand the Google SEO card ("Services and connections" group).
- Paste the code and save: Flopix adds the tag to your website.
- Go back to Google and click Verify.
What's next?
Once verified, submit your sitemap in the "Sitemaps" menu of Search Console: Flopix generates it automatically at your-site/sitemap.xml. Google takes a few days to crawl your website and show the first numbers.Good to know
- Like every advanced option, it can be turned on as soon as your website is live (active subscription, free trial included).
- To choose the title and description shown on Google, also turn on the SEO option.
- SEO takes time: don't worry if the numbers stay at zero for the first few days.
