2. Hosting

The Flopix Platform, as well as all the websites created by users via Flopix, are hosted by:

The data is hosted in France, within the European Union. The list of technical subprocessors that Flopix uses appears in the privacy policy.

3. Purpose of the Platform

Flopix allows any natural or legal person to create, via a guided form, a website (professional or personal page) which is then hosted and made accessible online by Flopix, under a subscription described in our Terms of Sale. The use of the Platform is also governed by our Terms of Use, accepted when the account is created.

Each site created on the Platform remains the exclusive property of Flopix: structure, templates, code, hosting and assigned address (subdomain). The subscription taken out by the user grants them only a temporary right of access and use, allowing them to manage and modify the content of their site during the validity period of their subscription, and on that condition alone (see the Terms of Sale, the "Ownership of the website" article).

The sites are hosted and kept by Flopix on its infrastructure. In the event of termination, non payment or breach of the Terms of Sale, Flopix may deactivate and then permanently delete the site concerned and all associated files, without the user being able to claim ownership of it, its return as source code, or its transfer to another host.

4. Intellectual property

All the elements making up the Flopix Platform (structure, site templates, graphic charter, logos, texts, source code) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of Flopix. Any reproduction, representation or use, in whole or in part, without prior authorization is prohibited.

The content specific to each site created by a user (texts, photos, logo) remains the property of the user who provided it, provided that they are indeed the rights holder or have the authorizations necessary for its distribution.

5. Protection of personal data (GDPR/CNIL)

Flopix collects and processes personal data (user account, billing, content of created sites) in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the recommendations of the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés). This data is used exclusively to provide the service, manage subscriptions and billing, and for customer relations. It is neither shared nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

The details of the data collected, its purposes, its retention periods, the subprocessors that Flopix uses and the cookies placed appear in our privacy policy.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, deletion and portability of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact form, or see the deleting your data page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL if you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the applicable regulations.

6. Cookies

The Platform places essential cookies, indispensable to its operation and to your login, as well as audience measurement subject to your consent, collected through a banner on the first visit and revocable at any time. No advertising cookie, no retargeting cookie and no third party data reseller operates on Flopix. The sites created by our customers load no tracker at all.

7. Report a problem on a site created with Flopix

If you notice illegal, fraudulent content or content contrary to our terms of use on a site created via Flopix, you can report it at any time via our contact form. We undertake to handle any report as quickly as possible.

8. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer customer who has not obtained satisfaction after a written complaint addressed to Flopix may use, free of charge, the following consumer mediator:

9. Applicable law

This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
